James "Jim" Robert Bidlack,79, affectionally known as Grump, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Wesley Commons Health & Rehab Center in Greenwood, SC with his family by side. Born June 27, 1945, in Defiance, OH, he was a son of the late Charles Robert & Wilma Jean Bidlack. He was a 1963 graduate of Defiance High School and was a US Army veteran having served in Korea and Vietnam. On July 28, 1989, he married the love of his life, Becky Eitniear and she survives. Jim retired from Defiance Metal Products of Greenwood. After retirement, Jim loved to spend time working in his yard and spending time with his family, whether it was on the back porch reminiscing about days past, watching the grandkids swim, or enjoying sporting events that they participated in. Jim was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Jim was a former member of the American Legion Post #20 and the Eagles Club.Surviving in addition to his wife of 35 years are his five children, Amy (Tony) Castle of Wause
