Martha Jane Arend, 90, of Mark Center, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio, with her family by her side. Martha was born May 3, 1934, in Glenmore, Ohio, daughter of the late Kenen and Evelyn (Krick) Clouse. She was a 1952 graduate of Ohio City Liberty High School. Martha married Robert E. Arend Sr. on June 20, 1953, in Cecil, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2010. Martha was first employed at Central Insurance Company as a clerk before becoming a homemaker and raising her family. She then worked for Arend Enterprises as the bookkeeper and accountant for over 40 years. Martha was member of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cecil, where she was active with the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a current member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Hicksville. Martha was a 25-year member of the Ohio Flying Farmers, where she was publisher of their organization newsletter. She enjoyed
