Josephine Goble, age 61 of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at her home.
She was born on April 3, 1963 to the late Jose Salaz and Calletana Briseno Cabrera in Defiance, Ohio. She was married to John W. Goble, who preceded her in death in 2022. Josephine was a former member of Family Christian Center. She enjoyed cooking, butterflies, the color green, and having a few "cold ones". She was a very loving and caring mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Josephine was very funny and had a joke for everything. She will be sadly missed by her family and many good friends.
Josephine is survived by her loving children, Kirk Okuly of Montpelier, Florentina Dodson, Austin (Travis Deitler) Dodson, and Jared (Callie Shaw) Dodson, all of Defiance. She also leaves behind her grandson, Kirk Okuly, Jr., stepsons, John Goble of Fayette, Jeff (Vicky) Goble of Defiance, and Jason (Katie) Goble of Hicksville, five step-grandchildren, and her siblings, Leo (Betty) Sal
