Lennis Saylor

Lennis Saylor, age 90, entered heaven on March 4, 2025. He was born Lennis Harold Saylor on November 24, 1934 in Insull Kentucky to Arthur and Mary (Edds) Saylor. At the age of 16, the Saylor family moved to Ohio where Lennis graduated from Antwerp High School. He would meet his future bride at the Payne Church of the Nazarene, Lula Burkley, and he was married there on April 3, 1955. They would have four children, Brent, Denise, Danette, and Joni. Lennis served in the United States Army, stationed in the Panama Canal Zone. Later he worked at Permaglass in Payne and eventually retired from BF Goodrich, Lennis loved to tell stories to anyone who would listen. He talked about his family, his childhood in the hills of Kentucky, his time in Panama, hunting and his trophies. He also loved to sing, especially about his Savior.
