AYERSVILLE - Michael T. McKibben, age 61 of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Mercy Defiance Hospital. He was born on October 25, 1962, to the late Kenneth and Betty (Richard) McKibben in Defiance, Ohio. Mike was a 1981 graduate of Ayersville High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Tri-State University in 1985. On May 31, 1986, he married Dawn Prickett, who survives. Mike was a member of Zion's Lutheran Church and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He worked as an engineer for Johns Manville for several years until his retirement, and owned Dad's Dairy Depot in Defiance. Mike helped with snow removal for the township, and was a member of the church council. Mike was a dedicated husband and father who treasured his time spent with family. In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking and making furniture and picnic tables.
