Ralph Paul Badenhop, 80, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at Northcrest Nursing Home.He was born in Wauseon, Ohio, on April 17, 1944, to the late Paul and Elvera (Buchhop) Badenhop. He graduated from Wauseon Highschool in 1962 and obtained his bachelor of science degree from BGSU in 1966.On June 15, 1968, he married Brenda Jane Latta at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Township.Ralph was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, where he served on many boards and committees, including Treasurer and School Board member. Ralph was enlisted in the Air National Guard before working for the State of Ohio responsible for public health and sanitary science; and drove cars for Patton Pontiac and Synder Chevrolet.Ralph enjoyed history and worked on the church history publication at St. Paul.
