Albert "Bert" Stephens, 85, of McClure, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.He was born in Richfield Township on June 8, 1939, to the late Wayne and Carmen (Spangler) Stephens. Albert married Charlene "Sue" Strite on June 26, 1965, in McClure.Bert was a member of The McClure United Methodist Church, where he served on several committees over the years. He was an extremely hard worker, often working several jobs at the same time, including Campbell Soup Supply Co. and ConAgra, while continuing to farm and raise hogs.Bert retired from factory work in 2011 at the age of 72. He and Sue enjoyed traveling and took several bus trips around the country. Bert was an avid pheasant hunter who took part in hunts in Iowa. His greatest joy was his family.Bert is survived by his children, Jennie Stephens, Jill Stephens and Judy (Randy) Williams; grandchildren, Jayme Williams, Elyssa Williams, Erynn (Scott) Gerken, Wyatt Williams, Wayde Williams, Amber (Shawn) Compher, Todd Clark and Addyson S
