ARCHBOLD - Shirley C. Moon, age 89 of Archbold, peacefully passed away on Friday morning, June 21, 2024 at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold, Ohio. She was born to the late Victor and Verda Potter in Barberton, Ohio on March 16, 1935. Shirley proudly earned her degree from Ohio University in 1957. On August 21, 1959 she married Allyn Moon, who preceded her in death on March 31, 2012.Shirley was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Her deep-rooted faith was a guiding force in her life. She enjoyed her time spent at home raising her children in their younger years. She then worked as a secretary at City Beverage in Defiance. Shirley had a beautiful music box collection, was passionate about art and painting, and was a part-time art teacher for Defiance City Schools. She loved the movie "Gone With The Wind" and enjoyed shopping and playing Bridge. Shirley was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
